Lit & Phil: Change of venue

For the 5th November meeting (because of the temporary closure of Macclesfield Library) the Lit and Phil lecture will now be held in the Whitaker Room in the Heritage Centre, Macclesfield. Go along to listen to 'Free radicals and antioxidants: facts, fallacies and commercial interests' by Richard Bruckdorfer who is Professor Emeritus in Biochemistry at University College London. He has worked at the universities of Utrecht, Paris, Munich and Los Angeles and was on the Executive Committee of the Biochemical Society.

The meeting will be at the normal time of 7.30 pm.

And on a slightly more topical theme, I don't think Guy fawkes wasn't a free radical any way:
