For lovers of theatre there will be thigh-slapping and thespians in Macc this winter. The MADS cast are treading the boards in The School For Scandal; the Blue Lizard Theatre Presents: The Reading Room; and the Majestic Theatre group brings to the stage it's adaptation of The Little Mermaid. But Christmas aside, whilst there is an abundance of music (gigs and classical), there is a real dearth of comedy, theatre and spoken word year-round - why is this?
