French fancies

“Club Franco-Britannique de Macclesfield”, (Macclesfield’s French Club), is holding an evening of Chatting, coffee and home-made cakes on Tue 23rd March at 8pm at the Heritage Centre. People are invited to bring along a French poem or a few lines from a favourite book or a song on a cassette or CD to present to the group.

They are a friendly, non-intimidating group of people of various ages who come together once a month to enjoy the French language and culture. Although the idea is to speak in French, they welcome people of all levels and they do not force people to speak in French or “put them on the spot”, so don’t worry if you think your French is not good enough, Go along and give it a go! A mouthful of crumbs will make your accent sound more authenticm, we're sure.
