Something for the Weekend

And here's to another fine weekend, opening on Friday night with Freefall Vertigo who play at the Hollins on Black Road.
Bright and early on Saturday morning there's the Farmer's Market at Cloverbank, North Rode 8.30am to 12.30pm. There are lambs in the fields as you drive up, officially they don't come until this weekend but as every year, some always get there early.

For a visual fix, Jobling Gowler solicitors has a special open weekend (9.30am - 4.30pm) for their new show - a taster for the east Cheshire Hospice SExhibition at Macc Town hall in October.

Once full of the joys of spring, on Saturday night choose from classical music or rock... Macclesfield Music Society presents the Stanford String Quartet, playing Mozart, Vaughn Williams and Borodin. The Heritage Centre, Roe St. 01625 427339.
