Something for the weekend?

Head down to Waterstones this morning for book signings of Lyme Hall with author Staurt Webb.
We will call into Christ Church to see Dorothy Bentley Smith ( see below). If you are around town nip upstairs at Sevens to see a collection of work by Jane Osmond. Lovely piece of 108 steps. Theres a Craft gift and food fair at Capesthorne all weekend and Black Hearts play the Nags Head tonight. On Sunday take a trip to Bollington, for paintings by Lynn and Ronald Daley at Bollington Art Centre (2-4pm) and a chance to view the new exhibition Pak Joy ( see image below) at the White Gallery. The latter are open bank holiday Monday also. On Sunday night its open mic at the Swan with two Necks and a Blues jam at the Jolly Sailor. Note these are weekly events. On Monday Canadian star Andrew Allen will be at the Hollins pub. One half of the loop is very keen on classic cars and since the demise of her newer car this week (aaagh) is flirting with something much older.Think we'lll go and ogle some automotive curves at Gawsworth on Monday. Do hope the Jowetts will be there. Jane Osmond at Sevens, 38 Mon-Sat 9.30am-5pm Chestergate Paintings at Bollington Art Centre. See link.
