Something for the Weekend

There's so much going on on Saturday that it may become a blur, so here's a little help.

If you aren't joining theLOOP at Windystock (Windyways, Teggs Nose Country Park) for the 12 hrs of phenomenal live music (12 noon - midnight) then...
From 2pm join Mark Kermode and panel for an afternoon of inspirational film at the Heritage Centre. Screenings include: 24 Hour Party People; an introduction to Joy Division documentary; and Control. (£15 with a late bar). (On Sunday pop back for showing of Plan K, previously unseen footage of Joy Division concert. 12 noon. £5).
From 3pm kick along to the Macc Town FC/MAST Scanner Appeal Open Day at the Moss Rose. Meet the lads after the Rhyl game and watch human table football.
From 7.45pm twirl into the Stylz Jive Dance Night at the Town Hall. (£7/£8), it's a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Research. (Tel: 07989622107)
There is another showing of Rossini's La Cenerentola (Cinderella) at the Clonter Opera in Congleton (www.clonteropera.com); Or dance along to... Hold Tight It's 60s Night and hear songs of the Beatles, Elvis Presley and Aretha Franklin belted out as part of the Gawsworth Open Air Theatre Season. (www.gawsworthhall.com)
Now, all you have to do is decide what to do... whatever make it fun and please tell them you read about it in the LOOP. (sorry blogspot won't let me add an image tonight?!)
