Something for the Weekend

Just back from our holidays in time to post for tonights ... Concert in the Park.

The name has changed this year, but essentially West Park will again host a rich list of top tribute acts on the Silk 106.9 Main Stage. As well as, the best local talent on the Macclesfield Express's Live and Local Stage. Features include top tribute acts for Swedish singing sensations ABBA, to swing superstar FRANK SINATRA and pop queen LADY GAGA. (pic courtesy of www.menmedia.co.uk/macclesfieldexpress)

Tickets are available on the gate tonight (14 August) from opening at 5pm.
£25 family, £10 adults and £5 children.

The Express's own local music columnist and theLOOP friend Garry the Hat, has chosen the 5 local bands. Including relatively new bands - Bad Blood, the David International and the Gracies. Alongside the better known - Steller and Rough Twist - and will be introducing them on stage.

It'll all finish at 11pm with a whopping firework show! and looking out of the window - that's how close we are to kick off now, the weather will be splendid!!!

Hope very much to see you there?!

And then to see you again tomorrow at Ronnie's, Duke's Court, when the Magic Otters will fill the Courtyard from 3pm. www.ronnies-bar.co.uk
