A few words from Craig at Biddulph Up in Arms:

"Come along next Wednesday and celebrate Roy Bailey's 75th birthday in the company of two of his best friends. Roy, dubbed by Tony Benn ''the finest socialist folksinger if his generation'' has lost none of his vim and vigour as his last two cds, 'Sit Down and Sing' and 'Below the Radar' will testify. He will be reunited with squeezebox king John Kirkpatrick who has played with just about everybody (Steeleye Span, Richard Thompson, Martin Carthy in Brass Monkey etc) over an illustrious career spanning four decades.

To complete the line up support comes from the Scottish-American David Ferrard; a fellow-activist whom Roy on his recent sleevenotes as a ''singer-songwriter of quality'', covering two of his songs. He switches effortlessly between the English and American folk genres and was a big hit at the 2009 Shrewsbury Folk Festival."
