Loop Social: Bugged

Join us for a sociable Loop evening based around this summer’s BUGGED
day of eavesdropping. The
UK’s brightest writers went out and about to listen in
to other people’s lives and some fascinating conversations were
overheard...'It's round, tubular and like a plum... 'What's ephemera? Is it
sexual?'
The resulting stories, poems and scripts are brought together in a new book -
Bugged. Some are funny, some sinister, and some a little bit fruity! Books will
be on sale on the night.

Macclesfield writer, Jo Bell will be leading the reading, helped by Jane (the
Birch one) and Jude D’Souza among others. And what a better place to meet, to
laugh, think and delve into other people’s private moments than at al PANINO’s
on Chestergate, after hours. Come at
7pm for the reading to begin at 7.30pm,
giving you plenty of time to take a table and order the finest of refreshments.
Entry is free but booking essential maccloop@googlemail.com or call Jane on:
