Artist / Creative Interpreter, Cheshire East Council
Cheshire East Council and Congleton Town Council require an artist or creative interpreter to tell the story of Congleton Town Hall.
Artist / Creative Interpreter’s Role
- Produce creative interpretation to ‘tell the story’ of Congleton’s Town Hall
- Involve members of the community, particularly young people and elders in consultation and development of the interpretation
- Liaise with Museum staff and the Cheshire Archives and Record service to gain insights into the history and heritage of the building to incorporate into the interpretation.
- Produce interpretation which is in keeping with the historic nature of the building by using materials which are sympathetic.
A total fee of £8,000 is available, to include fees, travel and materials.
Deadline for receipt of proposals is 28th January 2011.
Interviews and public exhibition will take place week commencing 21st February.
