What a pleasant evening. Comfy sofas, candlelight and the entertainment of writers reading:Stephen May from his novel TAG and Mark Illis from his short stories Tender (details will follow when its published in a few weeks). Its so good to hear writing come alive with the voice of the author (very convincing teenage girls actually) followed by the chance to quiz them both about their characters, their favourite books, writing for soaps and lots more. A very warm thank you to them both for hauling themselves over the Pennines. We hope we can lure them back to Macc soon. Many thanks to Ronnie for his hospitality too.
