Something for the Weekend

On your toes and out the door for tonight's Bollington Comedy Club with Craig Deeley, Bob Darwin, Graham Lee and Kevin Shepherd. Doors & bar open at 7.30 show 8.15pm. £8. Bollington Arts Centre, Wellington Road. 01625 560774.

And you've got an extra hour if you're joining theJanes and other Loopees to see the soulful Butterfly Jam at the Jolly Sailor. 9pm.

Between 10am and 4pm on Saturday create a pair of colourful slippers to toast your toes at a Claire De Ruiter Workshop. £40 inc materials (but not lunch). Rainow Church Centre. ring first on: 01625 574389.

Then it's back to Bollington at 8pm Saturday for the Jazz. Mike Lovell's Six in a Bar with Rosie to be precise. Or join, at least one Jane, for Rebellution at the Millstone on Waters Green. Featuring Alexis McLean, Kristi Michele and Elijah Wolfenheart. From 8pm and FREE.

Round off the weekend then, on Sunday with a mooch around the Hollins Farmers Market on Black Road.
